Who are we?

Autour de nous is a non-profit organization, which represents the unified voice of professional artists who devote themselves to the visual arts discipline (painting, sculpture), literature and crafts.

Our mission

Autour de nous has the role of regrouping artists in visual arts, literature and crafts in order to encourage an exchange network and to globally promote the development of their art, their production and their respective profession.

The organization Autour de nous aims to create new concepts of diffusion and emerging projects, organize artistic and cultural events, in order to promote the artistic culture and to reach the general public of the area of Vaudreuil-Soulanges.

Our mandate

The mandate confers to Autour de nous, the freedom to act on all issues related to the development of visual arts, literature and crafts in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges area where the artists can hope to thrive in harmony with the arts and literature environment. More specifically, Autour de nous aims to :

1. Ensure and maintain a constant cultural and artistic development and success of its members while acting as a voice in the cultural and artistic field.
2. Promote and broadcast innovating projects in visual arts, literature and crafts.
3. Promote the excellence and professionalism of its members and contribute to their representation on the regional, national and international sphere.
4. Encourage its members to work in an environment of freedom, trust, opportunity, solidarity and acceptance of artistic differences.
5. Engage in exchange projects with artists from abroad to allow an artistic interactivity and to generate the essential elements to establish a climate for research and new ideas creation.
6. Offer to other professional artists, young artists or artists amateurs the possibility of taking part in artistic events within the framework of its mandate.
   

Outstanding fusion of creative ideas, Autour de nous offers a platform of expression and diffusion to its members and exerts a role of leadership and lever of cultural and social change in the area of Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
